The 2026 Rimfire Sporter Competition Season is officially in the books and John Topolski (the Finest of Dyersburg, TN) is our June Champion. He was closely followed by Jerry Stringham (Our very own from Wickliffe, KY) and finally in 3rd place is a first-time podium winner Adam Morales. Adam is from Newburn, TN and raised his score 21 points from the last match! Once again, it appears that Tennessee water is fabulous for your eyesight as all our Tennessee competitors are amazing shots.
NOTE: The 22 Long Range Benchrest competition (195 yards) will be Saturday September 12th, at 9:00 A.M. The only rule is 22 rimfire cartridge – unlimited equipment: gun, rest, scope etc. Our current range record holder is Teddy Clymer from Reagan, TN with a 392-19X of 400-40.
The final NRA Highpower match will be Saturday October 24th at 9A.M. Contact Kevin McCauley at 270-519-3660 for information.
Brad Davidson and Tennessee Sports Foundation will be hosting the CMP Rimfire Sporter Tennessee State Championship on October 16th (practice match) and 17th (championship). The Henry County Gun Club has competitions every weekend with Dennis Sanderson, Tony Lacy and Tim Kreier being rifle match directors.
