16U roadtripped to see #7 UCLA at Rutgers tonight. Not sure what’s in that West Coast water, but wow.

16 runs on 18 hits. 8 home runs for UCLA… sheesh.

Looking forward to seeing runs and hits return to Wentz Run Park soon!

United’s youngest squad took on Plymouth at All-Star Sports Academy in West Chester.

We can’t wait to watch this group keep growing this spring and summer.

Tonight our 16U coaches and several players surprised center fielder Grace Dean, who’s been shining as Sophie in Mamma Mia! The Musical. Way to go #6!!!

How many we play? 🫲 6, 7 🫱🤣 Shoutout to #6 Grace Dean and #7 Sadie Lewis for the assist there. WHAT A SUNDAY. 16U had themselves a day, going 2-1 in RR play—allowing just 2 runs total in their two wins vs. TYA and Pottstown, plus a close game against Plumstead. Nice job ladies, and special shoutouts to Sydney Darnell, Kaylee Reed, and Ella Marra for big time plays this weekend.

For their second straight round robin weekend, the girls of United 16U finished 1-1, highlighted by an 11-2 win today over the Fusion. Sydney Darnell was dominant in the circle, striking out 6 while allowing just one earned run. Catching both games, as well at the plate, newcomer Sophia Plummer made a huge impact, going 5-for-6, including her first double of the season. Great team effort all around ladies.

Credit where credit is due. United 15U battled through a tough USSSA tournament weekend against seasoned travel teams. It wasn’t easy, but doing the hard stuff is what makes you stronger. A lot of grit, a lot of heart, and big things ahead for this young crew.
