The Flying Eagles were able to take 7 golfers to Penn National Golf Club in Fayetteville for the Pennsylvania State Championship. Our concerns about rain and other bad weather were magically removed and we had two days of blue skies and a very light breeze. Our athletes out-did themselves and turned in fantastic scores!

The FLYING EAGLES, aka the Montgomery County Special Olympics golf team, closed out the 2025 season with our annual Flourtown Tournament.

Hat's off to Trudy Knorr, Mary Brock and Joan Ridler for setting up a raffle during the Flourtown Tournament on September 7th. They raised $635.00 for the golf program!

The Flying Eagles arrived at the Special Olympics North American Golf Championship, we got to show them how it's done in Pennsylvania as our own Bill Ridler carried the torch and lit the flame!

The Flying Eagles filled some downtime with a visit to Mr. Ed's Elephant Museum and Candy Emporium. The sort of roadside attraction that can make traveling backroads a real treat.
