Grandview 8/29/26 Recap:

Heat: P1->P4, we fell back on a restart with three laps to go but we were still happy that we made it into the show from the heat!

Feature: P1-DNF, we led the feature for about 10 laps. We fought for the lead and went into turn 3 and made contact with P2 and ended up spinning with a bent up front end.

Thank you to everyone who helped us, My dad, my mom, Rileigh, Junior, Breezy, Scott, Herb, Miles, Evan, & Devin and Brody for helping us get the car ready to load into the trailer at the end of the night.

We will fix the car and be back next weekend!

We’re taking the weekend off to make sure we rebuild our new car the right way instead of rushing to get it done. We picked up a new car Thursday night and have been hard at work getting everything transferred over and we just ran out of time.

Definitely not the results we were hoping for.

Heat Race: P2 ➡️ P1 🏁
Feature 1: P3 ➡️ DNF
Feature 2: P21 ➡️ DNF

Unfortunately, we were caught up in a huge pile up on the front stretch before a full lap was even completed, causing a lot of damage to our new car. It’s definitely upsetting after all the time and effort we’ve put into rebuilding it, but that’s racing.

We’ll get the car back together this week, get everything fixed up, and be ready to give it another shot next weekend. A huge thank you to everyone who came over after the wreck to help get the car back together so we could make it out for the second feature. Thank you John, Herb, Mikey, Spike, Josh, Miles, Bonnie, the welder & especially my dad.

The new car felt super good, it felt like I had a lot of speed that we couldn’t show. i’m excited to get the car back together and be back next weekend!
