The first time in their history the Boyertown Breakers have not played for a whole season. Taking this time to reflect back on all of the accomplishments and awesome times the Breakers had!
Fall Season 2019 was the Boyertown Breakers’ 10 year anniversary! We were established with Boyertown Soccer Club the Fall Season of 2009. We grew into the team we are today. We had many teammates come and go over the years. Some of our outdoor seasons were a struggle but we always played for the love of soccer. We couldn’t be more appreciative of BSC for welcoming us into their club and for their continued support of our women’s team and league.
Over the past 10 years we have played Spring and Fall outdoor seasons with Tri County Women’s Soccer League, attended Beach Blast in Wildwood, NJ, played at the Sarah Parvin Memorial 24 Hour SoccerFest, played indoor over the Winter at YSC, BucksMont ISC, and 422 Sportsplex, attended the EPSA Women’s Indoor Cup.
During our time with TCWSL we have earned the title of Division Champions for 3 seasons. Spring 2017-Division 3, Spring 2019-Division 2, Fall 2019-Division 2.
This past Winter we played at the EPSA Women’s Indoor Cup. We were also playing an indoor session at the 422 Sportsplex until our session got cut short due to COVID-19. Which carried into our outdoor Spring Season with TCWSL and the Beach Blast Tournament.
The Breakers’ were super excited for this past Spring Season. We were coming from Fall and our 10 year anniversary with a first place to top it off. We moved up to Division 1!
There are still uncertainties with Fall Season 2020 but like any family of friends, this team is sticking together through it all 🖤⚽️
