I didn't. Not really.

The hook is loud on purpose.

Decades of lifting doesn't mean decades of doing it right.

It just means decades.

If nobody ever showed you how your body actually works, you've been guessing the whole time.

yo. been scrolling more than posting lately. figured I'd come back with a proper catch up instead of just showing up like nothing happened.

Millie and Obi are thriving, Vivian is still running the entire household, we adopted Perla 🐾, family's good, golf is humbling me weekly, and honestly the coaching work has never felt more dialed in.

quick update:
• coaching 1:1 out of

• just got brought on as the Fitness Instructor at San Gabriel Junior Golf ⛳

• finishing my Active Life Professional cert this year

• clients are getting results I'm genuinely proud of

Most people think pain means something is “wrong” with their body.

But a lot of the time, it’s simply a mismatch between the demand placed on your body and what it’s prepared for.

Every activity places stress on your system.

Swinging a golf club.

Running.

Lifting.

Even sitting at a desk all day.

Your body can handle stress… as long as it’s prepared for it.

Problems usually show up when the demand rises faster than your body’s ability to tolerate it.

That’s why someone can play golf pain-free for years…

then suddenly their back or elbow starts barking.

It’s rarely just the swing.

It’s that the demands exceeded what the body was ready for.

The solution usually isn’t to stop the activity.

It’s to gradually build a body that can handle more.

More strength.

Better movement options.

Greater tolerance to stress.

Because the real goal isn’t avoiding stress forever.

The goal is building a body that can handle the life you want to live.

Little things turn to big things when you do them for long enough. Don't fall for the trap that you have to be perfect. I promise you, if you do the little things that seem insignificant for long enough, you won't recognize yourself in a couple of months.
