🛑 URGENT: PLEASE SHARE TO HELP ARES & THE WASSON FAMILY 🛑
A heartbreaking tragedy has struck our community. Following the horrific accident on Washington Road this morning, we are desperately looking for Ares, the beloved family dog who was in the vehicle.
This family has just lost their husband and father. Returning Ares to them is one small bit of comfort we can provide during this devastating time. He is lost and likely very scared.
NAME: Ares
LAST SEEN: On the 2300 Block of Redwood Drive, near Neptune Dive & Ski, immediately after the crash on Washington Road.
BEHAVIOR: He is a friendly dog but is terrified. PLEASE DO NOT CHASE. He may run. If seen, observe from a distance.

Saturday, July 18, we are heading out for an exciting group dive trip to the beautiful island of Dominica! While we are away exploring the depths, the shop will remain open on a modified schedule.

If you need air fills or gear rentals to get your own dive on, we've got you covered! Please note for our temporary hours from Saturday, July 18 through Saturday, July 25.

Thank you once again for the overwhelming response to our swim lesson program. We are truly grateful for the trust so many families have placed in us.

Swimming is a vital life skill, and teaching it has always been a passion project for our team. From the beginning, our goal has been to offer our services in the fairest and most transparent way possible to every family. That’s why we use a well-respected national web-based registration system that is open to everyone. By keeping the process fully online, we eliminate in-person lines and phone queues, giving every interested family an equal opportunity to register.

We understand that the high demand can be frustrating for anyone who experienced delays or was unable to secure a spot. With only a limited number of openings and hundreds of families registering at the same time, the system can become very busy very quickly. When you enter the queue, families ahead of you are actively completing their purchases, and availability changes in real-time. Spots may sell out even while your request is processing.

We actively monitor and review the registration process after every session. We perform a full post-registration analysis to ensure there were no system issues and to identify any opportunities to improve the experience for future sessions.

We appreciate your understanding and patience, and we remain committed to making our program accessible and fair for as many families as possible.
