🎓🤼♂️ HAPPY WORLD TEACHERS’ DAY! 🤼♀️🎓
In professional wrestling, some of the most important teachers don’t stand in front of a classroom.
They stand in a wrestling ring.
They teach you how to take a bump.
How to work a crowd.
How to tell a story.
How to protect your opponent.
How to carry yourself in the locker room.
And sometimes… how to survive this crazy business. 😂
Today, we want to recognize the trainers, coaches, mentors and wrestling schools that have helped shape generations of professional wrestlers.
Across the country, there are some incredible wrestling educators and academies, including:
📍 Reality of Wrestling — Texas
Booker T has helped develop wrestlers through ROW's training programs for years.
📍 Black & Brave Wrestling Academy — Iowa
Seth Rollins and Marek Brave have built a training system focused on preparing wrestlers for the independent scene.
📍 Nightmare Factory — Georgia
One of the most recognized wrestling schools in the country, with a number of its graduates going on to major wrestling promotions.
📍 KnokX Pro Academy — California
A training school with a deep wrestling lineage and connections to several generations of wrestling talent.
📍 Create A Pro Wrestling — New York
Founded by Pat Buck and Brian Myers, CAP has helped develop wrestlers who have gone on to major wrestling promotions.
And those are just a few.
Because behind every wrestler you see on television, on the independent scene, or working their first match is usually someone who took the time to teach them.
🥊 Let’s give the trainers their flowers today.
👇 WHO WAS YOUR WRESTLING TEACHER?
Whether it was a legendary trainer, a local wrestling school, a veteran who took you under their wing, or someone who helped you learn your first bump…
TAG THEM.
And if you’re a wrestler:
What is the ONE lesson your trainer taught you that you still carry with you today?
Let’s hear the stories. ❤️🤼♂️
