A classic Bearings refurb for this week’s . This ‘90s Trek Singletrack 930 steel frame got a fresh setup with a 1x9 full Deore XT drivetrain, a flat bar with a little rise for comfort, and a Surly fork complete with a signature Surly badge on the head tube.

Topped off with Holy Roller tires and a gold chain for a little extra flair, this one is ready to rip around town. Come get it before Andrae decides to take it home!

Your chain is a key part of your drivetrain, and a healthy drivetrain keeps your bike rolling smoothly. Knowing when your chain needs to be replaced can help prevent extra wear on the rest of your drivetrain, too.

RACE ONE RECAP! 🚵‍♀️💨 Our team of nearly 50 middle and high schoolers woke up before the sun and headed to Yonah Preserve for the first race of the season with !

We had several top 10 finishers, and we’re so proud of how hard this team came out racing right from the start. 👏

We’re also so proud of our satellite team at Woodward Academy! We’re excited to be expanding our MTB team and can’t wait to see this crew continue to show up, push themselves, and race throughout the season! 💛🚲

⚡️ Meet Blue Lightning. A 1990s-era GT 26er that rolled into the bike shop ready for a second life. We kept the character that makes this bike special and gave it a few modern touches to bring it back to the streets.

Shimano STX 7-speed shifting, high-rise bars, Acera wheels, smooth Vans Cult tires, and matching Vans grips. 26” wheels, plenty of personality, and ready for a test ride.

A big thank you to TaylorWorkshop & SketchHaus for sponsoring these Chromebooks for our Frameworks Career Accelerator program! 💻💛

These computers give our fellows another tool to build the skills they need beyond the bike shop, from working on resumes and job applications to completing financial literacy lessons and more.

And today, 7 new young adults joined Frameworks and will get to put these tools to work as they learn, grow, and prepare for what’s next. We’re so grateful for your support of youth and their futures!

Happy ! This week we’ve got a Raleigh Marathon, refurbed by Eddie and updated with a more modern setup while keeping that classic Raleigh look.

We added a modern 2x9 drivetrain with a two-piece Race Face crankset and wider-range 9-speed cassette. We also converted the original 27-inch wheel setup to 700c, adding longer-reach brake calipers and Maxxis Detonator tires to bring it all together.

Classic frame, modern upgrades, and ready for plenty more miles. 🚲
