We'd like to thank everyone that came for the weekend or even one of the days to shoot here. I know the days can get long but hope you enjoyed your time here. We ended up throwing 48500 birds this weekend and had a few 100 straights including some in doubles. We also had the middle 50 hit for $1570. The Gary Strasser and Mike May front and back 50s are still growing. Thanks to Phlox Sportsmans Club for donating the money used to reduce junior targets. Some of the juniors ended up getting almost $70 back if they played all events. We'll try and continue doing this in the future.

We have all donations and the program is all set for Memorial Weekend. Ended up with over $2000 in added money along with another $250 to be split by juniors to help with bird costs. You can download the double sided flyer from our website.

One of the places that advertised/donated for this year would like some of the money to go towardhelping the youth. I’d like to try something to benefit all the youth that shoot Memorial Day weekend here. We have $250 to divide up and rather than give it as added money to just the top youth shooters, I’d like to divide it up as equal shares to each youth based on how many birds they shoot. Each 100 birds they shoot will count as a share. If we have 10 juniors that each shot 600 birds, that would equal 60 shares total. So, $250/60 is $4.167 per share. Each junior would get 6 shares, or 6 X $4.167 which comes to $25.00 back. I know it’s not huge, but it helps. If a junior shot all 1200 birds and there were the same 60 shares total, they would get a check for $50 back at the end. Last year for Memorial Weekend, we had juniors shoot a total of 4600 birds or 46 shares. So, $250/46 is $5.435 per share and if you shot all 1200, you’d get $65.22 back at the end. All juniors will get this refund even if they play options
