(Girls Riding Together) is looking for passionate leaders to join our community! We have TWO amazing opportunities:

🌟 GRiT AMBASSADORS 🌟
Grades 7-12 female athletes entering their 2nd+ year of

✨ Build leadership & confidence
✨ Earn volunteer/service hours
✨ Get GRiT gear + special race plate
✨ Boost college/job applications

One more GRiT Ambassador Announcement!

Hi!- My name is Amanda Mejia-Gonzalez

It is my 2nd year being a GRiT ambassador and I love GRiT for a variety of reasons. What i love most about it is that is presents a safe environment for young females to ride in. It is such an easy place to make connections and friendships while doing something you love. As something that really pulled me into the sport, I hope that it can do the same to other young girls who are scared to get on their bike. I hope that all the positive things that GRiT has given me in the last couple years can be shared with every girl who gets on their bike!

Sunshine Oelfke - Junior Ambassador
Hi I’m Sunshine, yes that is my real name. I’ve been mountain biking for seven years now and I absolutely love this sport!
I love making new friends and helping to empower others on and off the trail.
As a Jr grit ambassador, I’m super excited to help encourage and support other female/minority athletes. The goal is to finish with a SMILE and take a selfie with me
Other hobbies I have are snowmobiling, snowboarding, rock/ice climbing and I even came so far out of my comfort zone to join softball EEK!! Fun fact: I LOVE FLAMINGOS and SNOW

Cate Schaefer - Ambassador
My name is Cate and I am so excited to be a GRiT Ambassador for the 2025 season! I have been mountain biking for 5 years with NICA, and I am a varsity rider for La Follette High School in Madison. When I am not pushing the pedals, you can find me traveling, shopping, reading, or spending time with friends and family. I love GRiT because it brings together girls from all corners of the state to collaborate, build confidence, and have fun mountain biking! I am all about fostering a welcoming community, where we embrace the challenges of mountain biking and learn to thrive both on and off the trails. I can’t wait to meet new and returning riders this season, so if you see me at the GRiT tent, on trail, or with my team, please don’t hesitate to say hi! Hi! My name is Natalie Reed. This is my 6th year riding with SLS Composite and in NICA, and my 2nd year as a GRiT Ambassador. GRiT has been an amazing way to meet new people and make lifelong friends both on and off the bike. I’m so excited to ride with everyone this season and continue building such a strong and supportive community. Harper Hollis - Heidenreich - Ambassador

Hi! My name is Harper Hollis-Heidenreich and this will be my 2nd year as a GRiT Ambassador. I love GRiT for a multitude of reasons, but the most important one is simply the community of girls who bike. Getting more girls on bikes is very important to me, and GRiT is perfect at achieving this. As a racer, this year I’d like to help create a space where girls can achieve as much as they can. Let’s announce the GRiT Ambassadors and Jr. GRiT for the 2025 Season!!! First up!

Kjersten MacMillan - Ambassador
I go to Waunakee High School and I’m going to be a junior.

I love grit because it is about enjoying the ride and making friends. My favorite part of the festival weekends is the grit pre rides because there is a lot of chatting and getting to know new people!

I plan to bring new ideas for fun grit rides and other activities. I also would like to work on recruiting more girls to join grit.
