🏈 FRONTIER 49ERS — EARLY MARCH 2027 TRAVEL UPDATE 🏔️✈️

The Frontier 49ers are officially voting on who they want to face in Washington in early March 2027!

Our possible opponents are the 2026 defending champion Spokane Wolfpack or the Bellingham Vikings. No matter who the final opponent is, we have respect for both organizations and look forward to the opportunity to compete against elite competition.

The team will have until early September to make the final decision. Once the opponent is selected, we will continue building our roster and preparing for the road ahead.

The Frontier 49ers are building a roster of dedicated athletes who are ready to represent the 907 and show what Alaska football is all about! 💪🏈

GAME 2 WAS AN ABSOLUTE THRILLER! 🏈🔥

What a battle in Game 2 of the LFFL season as the Fairbanks Raiders and Frontier 49ers went back and forth in a game that came down to the final minutes!

Fairbanks came out strong and took an 8-0 lead into halftime.

But the Frontier 49ers came out of the locker room ready to fight. They received the second-half kickoff and put together a long, grinding 5-minute drive down the field to tie the game 8-8.

Then came another huge moment.

Facing 4th & 20, the Fairbanks Raiders dialed up a deep pass that turned into an incredible touchdown! A clutch play when they needed it most, giving Fairbanks a 16-8 lead.

But the 49ers weren’t done.

Facing 4th & 25, the Frontier 49ers sent up a PRAYER PASS to TE Isaia Zachary. Zachary came down with the huge catch and turned it into a touchdown his second TD of the game — tying it back up at 16-16!

With just 2 minutes left, Fairbanks was driving and looking to take the lead, but the Frontier 49ers defense came up HUGE with a game changing interception.

The 49ers took over and went to work. They moved the ball down the field and punched in the go ahead touchdown on the ground to take their first lead of the game.

FINAL SCORE: FRONTIER 49ERS 22 — FAIRBANKS RAIDERS 16

This game had EVERYTHING a 4th-and-20 touchdown, a 4th-and-25 miracle, huge catches, momentum swings, a late interception, and a game-winning drive.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out today and supported both teams from the home and away stands! We had a little over 100 spectators, and it was amazing to see so much support for the LFFL.

🏈 LFFL STANDINGS UPDATE 🏈

As we share our current standings, we want everyone to know that these standings are just a trial run as we continue building the future of the Last Frontier Football League.

We are including the July 12th scrimmage as part of this experiment to help us test the format, track team performance, and work through any issues as we continue growing.

Our goal for next season is to add at least two more teams so we can have a true competitive league with official standings, playoffs, and championship games. 🏆

Most importantly, our goal is to bring a full football league back to Alaska in 2027. We want to continue growing the game, creating opportunities for players, and building something that Alaska football fans can be proud of.

Right now, we are laying the foundation and working out the issues. There will be challenges and adjustments along the way, but that is all part of building something great.

We appreciate every player, coach, sponsor, official, and supporter who is helping us make this vision a reality.

This is only the beginning. The future of Alaska football is what we are building toward.

HISTORY MADE — FAIRBANKS RAIDERS 🏈

The moment we’ve been waiting for… THE FAIRBANKS RAIDERS HAVE SCORED THEIR FIRST-EVER TOUCHDOWN! 🔥🏈

In their inaugural season in the Last Frontier Football League, the Raiders officially put their first points on the board and made a little piece of Alaska football history.

This isn’t just a touchdown. It represents the hard work, dedication, sacrifice, and belief it took to build this team from the ground up.

The first touchdown. The first season. The beginning of something special.

Congratulations to the players, coaches, and everyone who has helped bring Fairbanks football to the LFFL.

Tonight, we celebrate the moment. Tomorrow, we get back to work.

🏈 WHAT A BATTLE! 🏈

Today was everything football is supposed to be — physical, competitive, emotional, and hard-fought from start to finish.

The Frontier 49ers and Fairbanks Raiders left it all on the field today. There were big hits, tough runs, hard-fought yards, momentum swings, and plays where both sides refused to back down.

This game wasn’t given to anybody. Every yard was earned. Every possession mattered. Every player had to fight for it.

A huge amount of respect goes out to the Fairbanks Raiders for putting together a hell of a fight and showing up ready to compete. For a brand-new team stepping onto the field in league play, they showed toughness, heart, and determination.

And to our Frontier 49ers — proud doesn’t even begin to describe it. You battled through adversity, stayed together, and continued fighting until the final whistle. That’s what being a 49er is about. 💙💛

Today wasn’t just about a scoreboard.

It was about two teams helping build something bigger for adult football in Alaska. Two teams willing to put everything on the line and prove that football is alive and well here.

It was also an incredible way to kick off the year — setting the tone for what promises to be an exciting, competitive, and unforgettable season ahead in the LFFL.
