The improvements at the club continue. Now that the air conditioner is up and keeping things cool the committee responsible for redecorating are hard at work cleaning and planning to paint the dining room. All the items hanging on the walls have been removed and are safely stored. Thank you to Dawn Lancaster, Terri Karsten and Molly Hamilton.

Tonight the official Change of Command ceremony was held at the Yacht Club, honoring past Commodores and passing the Commodore and Vice Commodore flags to the incoming officers. The celebration started with great music provided by Ed Dowling while partiers mingled in the bar. Dinner was catered by JJ's who did their usual superb job. Our new (relatively, this is her second year) Vice Commodore Molly Hamilton proved to be a great cook, providing a variety of great desserts. Commodore Scott Hamilton (not the ice skater) displayed comedic talent as Master of Ceremonies, the very best of which was his top ten reasons I don't want to be Commodore.
