Happy Thanksgiving from LCCC! Today we got together for our 11th annual Turkey Bowl! It was a fun morning of football and catching up. This year we also used the event to fundraise money for the Little Chute Run Club. Through donations from our alumni and a generous match from Van Dyn Hoven Insurance Agency we were able to raise $466! The Little Chute Run Club helps support our Little Chute running athletes. Yesterday at the WIAA State Cross Country meet junior Ben Toeppler capped off a strong season. He finished 17th overall with a time of 16:33. An improvement from his sophomore finish of 21st overall. He ran a gutsy race and as a coaching staff we couldn’t be more proud. Thank you to all the fans that made the trip to Wisconsin Rapids. Congratulations Ben, a class act representing Little Chute!

Ben has had quite a successful junior season, including being the NEC Runner of the Year and finishing 3rd at Sectionals. 👟🏆 Ben will run at Cross Country State on Saturday, November 1st, at 12:35pm at The Ridges in Wisconsin Rapids.

Lauren Wegand is the WIAC Kwik Trip Athlete of the Week. She won the individual title in helping lead UW-La Crosse to a dual victory at Luther College (Iowa) on Oct. 24. She completed the 5,000-meter course in 18:41.7. A total of 36 runners completed the race.

Ben Toeppler finishes 3rd overall with a time of 16:43 to advance to next weekends state competition! We had several season PRs and outstanding performances on the day. The boys finish 8th and the girls finish 7th out of 16 total teams. In their final race of their 4 year career our seniors Ryan Trzebiatowski (19:17, 56th) and Campbell DeBoth (20:35, 10th) put on a show! 1 more week of practice for the Mustangs!

The Little Chute Mustangs had a great evening at the conference meet! The boys finished 2nd out of 8 teams and the girls finished 4th out of 8 teams. Ben Toeppler is your conference champion finishing with a time of 16:45!
