July 5th, 1776. Our first day of declared independence. The first day we were Americans. The first day loyalist starting pushing back our rights as individuals. The first day liberty was put before any law, rule, or regulation.

245 years later we still find ourselves in the same boat. We are put against those who believe individual liberty should be second to, laws, rules, regulations, or (My personal favorite) a "greater good". We have those who actually believe the government should be deciding what is best for the individual, and what liberties are worth having.

So today and every chance you have in the future, be sure to put independence first, do your part to represent the individual and liberty before all else. And defend your freedom at every turn, no compromises.

Liberty and Justice for All.

And remember, believing the government has what's best for you in mind, is like believing the casino wants you to get rich when you walk in their doors.
