✨ Player Spotlight ✨
Wanted to give a special shoutout to my longtime athlete, Maren Louridas. I started training Maren when she was in 5th grade, wearing goggles and a bright pink jacket at the park or in her driveway.
Fast track to now, 11 years later, Maren just graduated from the United States Naval Academy, ranking 9th in her class with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
On the court, Maren was a 4 year starter, 2 year Captain and helped lead the team from a 1-29 record in years previous to #1 in the Patriot League. Maren was selected to the Patriot League All-Rookie Team her Freshman season and a back to back Patriot League All-Academic Honoree and College Sports Communicators Academic All-American.
Over her 4 year career, Maren averaged 5.9ppg, 4.6rebs/g, and 33% FG %.
In September, Maren will be in Pensacola, Florida for Cyber school to be a Maritime Cyber Warfare Officer (MCWO). She is 1 of ONLY 8 Midshipmen in the US Naval Academy Class of 2026 to earn this prestigious and highly selective military assignment.
Over the past decade, Maren has grown to be more than just one of my athletes but is now family, a little sister and a friend! You’ve made us proud watching you grow on and off the court. Ready to see what you accomplish next!
