🏐 SESSION 2 REGISTRATION OPENS TO THE PUBLIC 🔜

Any remaining spots for our Session 2 Sand Volleyball Leagues will open to the public on Thursday, June 18 at 12:00 PM — just 1 week from today!

Not sure which league is right for your team? Here’s a quick breakdown:

🔥 Monday B/BB Co-Ed 6’s – Our toughest 6’s league. Fast-paced, highly competitive volleyball.

💪 Tuesday B Co-Ed 6’s – Strong competition and a great challenge for experienced teams.

🏆 Wednesday B/A Co-Ed 4’s – Competitive 4’s action with separate upper and lower divisions.

😎 Thursday Rec Co-Ed 6’s – Best fit for beginner-to-intermediate teams looking for fun, balanced competition.

🌅 Friday B Co-Ed 6’s – The perfect middle ground. Competitive but welcoming, with both Rec and B brackets.

☀️ Sunday B Co-Ed 6’s – A great option for teams with some experience looking for solid competition and a relaxed Sunday atmosphere.

🏐🌽 SESSION 2 LEAGUE REGISTRATION UPDATE! 🌽🏐

Registration for Session 2 Co****le Leagues is now LIVE!

✅ Team registrations
✅ Free agent registrations

Head to our website for league details and to secure your spot before spaces fill up!

For our Sand Volleyball players, Session 2 registration information is coming soon. Exclusive registration for current teams will be released by the end of this week (likely Wednesday or Thursday).

⏳ Current teams will have a one-week priority registration window to re-enroll in their current league and division before registration opens for day changes, new teams, and other adjustments.

We’re also planning to re-balance divisions and brackets based on Session 1 results to create more competitive matchups, fresh opponents, and an even better experience for Session 2.

💡 SAND VB LIGHTING UPDATE 💡

Quick update on our ongoing battle against the copper-thieving vandals:

We added temporary solar lighting this week, but we still need additional lights to make late matches fully playable and safe. Turns out the “go green” strategy comes with a crash course in lumens 😅

To help keep things moving for now:
🏐 Late slot teams will play full matches in Round 1
🏐 Round 2 matches will be ONE set to 30
🏐 Please keep breaks between sets short so we can maximize playable time under the lights

We know this isn’t ideal, and we really appreciate everyone’s patience and flexibility while we work through the early-season chaos. Our goal is to add more lighting over the next week and get things running smoothly for the rest of the season.

Until then:
There will still be plenty of time after matches to roast your teammate’s passing or finally ask your volleyball crush to grab a beer 🍻

🏐 SAND VB LIGHTING UPDATE 🏐

Thanks everyone for a great kickoff week to Session 1 — despite the cold/rainy weather! As many of you know, our old lighting system had ongoing issues with vandalism/copper theft. We’ve been working with the City of Akron + electricians on a better long-term solution.

💡 New solar-powered LED lights were installed last week. One of the four arrived defective, so Court 3 currently has no light.
💡 The replacement light has been ordered, and we are hoping for installation tomorrow.

🏐 TONIGHT (Court 3 only):
💡 7:40 PM — Team 16 (Lily’s Bandits) vs Team 18 (Diggin’ Your Ballz) should be fine before full sunset
💡 8:30 PM — Team 15 (Pritchard) vs Team 12 (Mortal Kombat) will be “play it by ear” depending on visibility
💡 If needed, we will reschedule/make up any impacted games later this season

If you don’t hear another update from us about lights, assume everything is good to go moving forward 👍

While the Cleveland Cavaliers were battling the Toronto Raptors, we had some championship action of our own at Pinnacle Sports on Sunday night (5/3)!

In the B1 Division, Team Big Ol’ Hitties brought the heat and secured a 3-set victory over runner-up That’s What She Set to claim the title.

Over in B2, Old School, Young Guns lived up to their name, taking down Set ‘Em Up to earn the championship and cap off a strong playoff run.

Huge thanks to everyone who competed this session — great energy all around to close out our winter/spring indoor leagues.

Sand volleyball kicks off tonight, and we’re looking forward to an awesome outdoor season. Stay tuned for potential additional summer and fall indoor offerings to complement our popular sand leagues!

🚨 Sand Volleyball Update – Please Read! 🚨

Schedules for Summer Session 1 are officially LIVE — check your email for full details!

⚡ Due to an electrical issue at the courts, there will be NO lights for Week 1

🏐 To adjust, doubleheaders are removed Monday–Friday for the first week

🏐 Sunday games are unchanged (daytime = no lighting needed)

We’re working hard with the City and electricians to get everything fully restored ASAP and appreciate everyone’s patience.

We’re excited to kick things off on Monday and can’t wait to see everyone out there on the sand! 🏐
