Long before Akron was a city, the Portage Path carried canoes between the Cuyahoga and Tuscarawas rivers.

The people who traveled that path were the First People of this land. Today, on Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we honor them:

“We honor and acknowledge the First People to occupy this land that today we call Akron. The names they used to identify themselves are largely unknown to us. However, the Native American nations who were stewards of this land before the arrival of the first Europeans included the Seneca and Cayuga from the Iroquoian (ee·ruh·kwoy·uhn) confederacy, the Huron, the Shawnee, the Ojibwe (ow·jeeb·wei) or Chippewa, and the Lenni Lenape, (leh·nee leh·nuh·pee) who were also called ‘Delaware.’ We recognize that we owe a debt to these Indian nations who were forcibly removed from the land they sustained for hundreds of years.”

How much does Affordable Family Fun really cost?

In 2026 two adults, two kids, four hot dogs, drinks for everyone, and parking at 7 17 Credit Union Park comes to under $80. The national MiLB average for that same night out is $103.80.

So, a RubberDucks family of four spends $25.30 less than the national MiLB average. That’s 10 more hot dogs at our prices.

At 7 17 Credit Union Park, a small domestic draft cost $5.50 in 2026. The national average was $8.84. That’s second-lowest in the Eastern League and 7th-lowest in all of MiLB.

Our standard logo tee is $19, the lowest price in the Eastern League and more than $6 under the national average. Our replica jersey ($85) is also the cheapest in the league.
