They’re often found around 20–30 meters, so next time you spot a fire urchin during your dive, take a closer look… you might discover this incredible little shrimp hiding among its venomous spines!

How colorful, diverse and incredible they are 🌈🪸

Can we talk about how amazing corals are? From far away they already look stunning, and up close they become even more fascinating 🌊✨

Here in Malapascua we are very lucky because the coral is still in excellent condition 🪸 We have vast fields of both soft corals and hard corals everywhere, creating an incredible underwater world 🐠💙

It is so important to protect this environment. That’s why we always remind all divers that during every dive nothing should be touched and perfect buoyancy control is essential to avoid damaging the corals 🤿🌿
