That is an incredible sighting! Monad Shoal near Malapascua Island is legendary for its thresher sharks, but seeing a Tiger Shark there is a truly special (and slightly more rare) experience for divers.
Tiger sharks are easily identifiable by their broad, blunt snouts and the dark, vertical stripes on their sides—though these stripes often fade as the shark matures.

Size: They can grow up to 4.5 to 5.5 meters long, making them one of the largest predatory sharks in the ocean.
Diet: Known as the "wastebaskets of the ocean," they eat almost anything—fish, seals, birds, turtles, and even inanimate objects like tires or license plates.
