The FMR/ Assurant team prep work is coming together nicely and both Shelley Belcourt and Xavier Booth 250's are looking super sharp. Azlan 'RAZ' Blackwell Racing are putting the final touches on their Yamaha R7 so we are all hanging out for racing to start. Great meeting up with Assurant New Zealand last week to pickup the cool looking machine check stickers for the AMCC championship. Thank you guys and thanks also to Cameron Leslie Racing for good laughs and help with bike setup. Our first race is on Septmber 6th at Hampton Downs so not too many sleeps now. Yeaaaah.

After lots of preparation at HQ, the FMR team had a fantastic track day at Hampton Downs today. It was a cold start but we had blue skies and sunshine for the whole afternoon allowing Shelley Belcourt and Xavier Booth to continually improve and set PB's with impressive consistency. It was awesome riding and great watching. Big thanks to Ben Cook and Ben Mayo for their on track coaching and valuable feedback and to Cameron Leslie for his help at HQ and throughout the day. Great day, great people, great times.

We have exciting news - Read on...

FMR has been busy in the garage and track day testing in May and June at Hampton Downs with FMR riders Azlan Blackwell on his 650 and Shelley Belcourt and rookie Xavier Booth on the 250's.

All three riders rode really well, Azlan perfecting bike setup changes, Shelley finding even faster lines and Xavier Booth showing he is focused and a quick learner. It was heaps of fun for all albeit in some challenging wintery conditions.

With the great backing from title sponsor Assurant New Zealand and other leading brands, the team are looking strong and growing in confidence for the season ahead as we chase title #11 in 250's and in Pro Twin 650.

Official Announcement - - We have a 4th rider joining FMR for the 2026/2027 season :-

We are super excited to welcome 2023 Hyosung Cup Champion Benny Cook to FMR. Benny will bring a wealth of experience to the team, big smiles to the paddock and add an exciting dynamic to the 250 grid. Determined, super competitive and a great team player, he will compliment the FMR rider lineup perfectly.
