Just got back from Round 3 of the NZ Six series at Hampton Downs.

Was a bit of a shambles to get there with the last minute call being made on Monday to head up to Auckland.

But even with that stoked with the results ended up 4th every session at a track I’d never done a lap at before.

Race 1 was fairly quiet just ran in no man’s land for most of the race. Race 2 had a great race with Brydon in the AU just got pipped at the line by 0.1 of a second.
Race 3 was reverse grid and ended up having some mega battles with a few cars.

Some great clean racing and the car finally ended up on the trailer intact which is all we wanted.

Hopefully should be back out for Taupo in a couple weeks.

Qual - 4th
Race 1 - 4th

Couple Highlights from the summer series over the weekend.

Race 1 started a thousand rows behind the pack for some reason drove up to 5th before the gear lever broke off.

Race 2 I got my act together and came home P3. Beat my PB by a second as well which is sick.

Race 3 started down the back and on lap 3 the clutch decided it had had enough of my dicky driving and blew up. Not ideal haha.

Overall a good weekend tho and good to be back in the car after a few months off.
