🏊💙 Greendale Club Champs 2026 – Entries Open! 💙🏊

Hot on the heels of the Aquahawks meet, we have our own Greendale Club Champs coming up! 🙌

Open to all Greendale members (recreational + competitive), Club Champs will be held across Friday 19 June & Sunday 21 June at Taradale Pool.

⏰ Entries are OPEN now via SNZ Fastlane and close Monday 15 June at 6pm — no late entries!

💡 A few key things to know:
✅ Max 8 events per swimmer
✅ Swimmers 11+ must swim the 100IM to qualify for age group placings (choose either session)
✅ A fun chance to race, challenge yourself and celebrate the season 🏅

We’d love to see as many swimmers involved — jump on and enter!

🏊‍♂️👑 Next Racing Opportunity – Duel in the Pool! 👑🏊‍♀️

Entries are now OPEN for Duel in the Pool at HBRAC on Sunday 14 June!

⏰ Entries close: Sunday 7 June at 11:59pm via SNZ Fastlane — no late entries!

💡 What’s different about this meet?
Swimmers can enter races like a normal meet (max 5 events) — or take on the King/Queen of the Pool challenge 👑

To be eligible, swimmers need to:
✅ Swim all 4 strokes
✅ Swim the same distance for each stroke (25m, 50m or 100m)
✅ Add 1 IM event (100IM or 200IM)

The winner is based on the fastest combined time across all 5 events in each age group — a fun all-rounder challenge! 🔥

🏅 Medals are awarded for all events

🌊🏊‍♀️ HAVE A GO SWIM MEET – RESCHEDULED! 🏊‍♂️🌊

Due to the severe weather earlier this year, our April Have A Go Meet had to be postponed when the HB Regional Aquatic Centre closed. The good news? We’ve secured a new date and can’t wait to welcome everyone along! 🎉

📅 Sunday 5 July 2026
📍 HB Regional Aquatic Centre
🕐 Check In: 1:15pm
🏁 Start Time: 1:30pm
⏰ Finish: Approx. 3:30pm

This fun, friendly and relaxed event is perfect for children wanting to experience a swim meet for the very first time. There’s no pressure — it’s all about participation, confidence, learning new skills, and having fun in the water 💦
Swimming is not only an amazing sport, but also an essential life skill for water safety here in New Zealand 🇳🇿

✅ Pre-registration is preferred
🎁 Spot prize for swimmers registered before the event!
