As the 12th Annual Hamilton Fiji Netball Tournament 2026 comes to an end, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all teams who participated in this year’s event.

This tournament would not have been successful without your support, participation, and commitment. To all players, managers, coaches, umpires, volunteers, Rego team, sponsors, and supporters, thank you for being part of something truly special. Your dedication, sportsmanship, and energy brought this tournament to life and made it a memorable day for everyone involved.

Every team contributed to the success of the event, whether you won a trophy or simply played with heart and pride. Together, you created an atmosphere of unity, culture, and community spirit that we are truly proud of.

While the spotlight shines on the players and winners, we want to take a moment to acknowledge the incredible people behind the scenes who made the Hamilton Fiji Netball Tournament 2026 possible.

A heartfelt thank you to our volunteers, helpers, and supporters who gave their time, energy, and kindness throughout the day. From setting up, managing games, assisting teams, and ensuring everything ran smoothly, your efforts did not go unnoticed.

Congratulations to Matilda from Team Hamilton for being awarded the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Premier Open Division at the Hamilton Fiji Netball Tournament 2026!

🏆 Premier Open Division Champions – Team Hamilton 🏆

What a final! A huge congratulations to Team Hamilton for being crowned the Premier Open Division Champions at the Hamilton Fiji Netball Tournament 2026!

The final against Highbrook was an absolute thriller from start to finish. Highbrook pushed our team all the way, making it a fiercely contested and highly competitive match. Both teams showed incredible skill, determination, and heart, creating a final worthy of a championship title.

In a nail-biting final quarter, Team Hamilton faced a major challenge when one of our players was sent off for two minutes following a dangerous play call, leaving the team to battle on with only six players. Despite the pressure, our girls showed incredible resilience, composure, and teamwork to hold their ground.

At the final whistle, the scores were locked in a draw, forcing the match into an additional two minutes of extra time for each side. With the championship on the line, Team Hamilton dug deep, found another level, and delivered when it mattered most.

The girls held their nerve, fought for every ball, and ultimately secured a memorable 24–22 victory to claim the Premier Open Division title!

This championship is a testament to the dedication, sacrifice, teamwork, and fighting spirit of every player, coach, manager, and supporter who stood behind Team Hamilton.
