He has been in consistent work over the past three weeks and is progressing extremely well on the flat. He is confidently schooling leg yield, shoulder-in, walk, trot and canter, with the beginnings of lengthened stride, and shows three quality paces with natural balance and trainability.
Tucci is an exceptional jumper, showing natural scope and confidence well beyond his age. He has been lunged over fences up to 1.20m, clearing them with ease from trot, demonstrating excellent technique, carefulness, and power. He has also been out cross-country and proved bold, sensible, and enthusiastic.
On the ground and out hacking, Tucci is a pleasure. He is excellent on the roads and happy to trek alone or in company. He is easy to float, excellent for the farrier, and straightforward to handle in all aspects of daily life. He is kind with other horses and comfortable being fussed over and ridden ba****ck.
As a young, green performance pony, Tucci will best suit a competent rider who can continue his education and realise his obvious ability. With correct production, he has the potential to progress to top-level pony.
