Rotorua (nz) sits around 200 metres above sea level.
In scuba diving terms, altitude diving refers to diving in water at elevations above sea level, where changes in pressure affect dive planning.
So, while our Adult Try Row isn’t scuba diving, we’re borrowing the term for a fun, quirky connection: your first row in Rotorua happens a little higher above sea level!

A first row. A unique Rotorua experience.

Perfect weather for the Adult Try Row. Great turnout, and we even had to get the Octi out to fit everyone! Big thanks to coaches Barbara and Steven for volunteering their morning. We couldn't have done it without you.

At Rotorua Rowing Club, protecting our waters is non-negotiable. Following Biosecurity New Zealand guidelines, every club lifejacket/Belt is checked, cleaned, hot-water treated, and hung to dry completely between lakes so we don’t transfer freshwater pests

Doing our bit to protect the Rotorua Te Arawa Lakes from gold clams and freshwater pests.

Check. Clean. Dry. Every time.
