Hii everyone, My name is Renee Noel I am a 20 Year old female Rotorua Local. I am doing a lotto drop fundraiser to be able to head overseas to New Caledonia and hopefully Thailand to Represent New Zealand in the Oceania Championship and the Woman’s Worlds Championship for Pétanque. I am the only youth player apart of this team and this is an amazing opportunity and experience for me. A lot of people don’t know what Pétanque actually is or think it’s an older generations game but I am here to show that this sport isn’t just for elder people but is a sport youth can enjoy and excel in. Being apart of this team opens me up to an entire different skill set and competition level I have never been able to experience before.

All the money I fundraise is going towards my flights there and back and also a couple night’s accommodation. I am hugely grateful for your support and love and I really hope I can make it over there to represent our country 😁

I would just like to take this time to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part in helping us put together an amazing weekend for the youth of your sport. We would like to thank a couple of people today for making this happen.

Massive thank you to Michael Rocks who helped run this tournament and did all our scoring you did a fantastic job and we really appreciate it.

Massive thank you to Bruce Ingles for all the help with setting up for this weekend and stringing the terrains as well as helping cook lunch for the kids.

Another big thank you to Betty Geiser for being our umpire for the weekend and teaching and guiding the kids on how to play and the rules it was awesome to see and we really appreciate that.

A huge thank you to Mike for helping set up for this tournament and helping string but for also being our photographer over the weekend you took some amazing photos.

And lastly a huge thank you to Nicola Brock for all your hard work organising the awesome goodie bags for the juniors was so cool to see everyone walk away with something and be acknowledged and just your overall help all weekend with foods and everything we appreciate it.

Hey Guys,

We are wanting to do something very special for the juniors this year at the Youth Nationals, we are hoping that the Auckland Pétanque Community can get behind us and give some support. We are looking to put together goodie bags for each and every junior, so that everyone walks away with something and there is acknowledgment and appreciation of their participation. These youngers are the bloodline of this sport, so lets get behind them, any donation big or small would be appreciated to go towards making this happen for the youth of our sport.
