⚾️ The ABA is excited to welcome the Manurewa Mavericks to the 10U Auckland Competition. This season they’ll play under the HP umbrella, with the goal of establishing their own Baseball Club by next year.

The Mavericks are starting from scratch and have very limited gear. If you have any spare or older equipment tucked away, please consider donating it to help get these young players underway. You can reach them using the email address on the graphic. ⚾️

Calling for Expressions of Interest for Head & Assistant Coaching roles with Auckland Baseball Representative teams. Grades available are: 12U, 13U, 14U and 16U.

To be eligible for a Coaching role, you must meet the following requirements:

1. Be registered via GameDay as a volunteer, coaching at a club in the age grade you’re applying for
2. Be Police vetted via the GameDay system
3. Have undertaken Little League Diamond Leader Training Programme (certificates must be provided to ABA)
4. Have undertaken Little League Abuse Awareness Training (certificate must be provided to ABA)

Please send a letter outlining:

1. The role and age group that you’re applying for
2. Your experience
3. What motivates you to step into a coaching role

Expressions of interest close at 5pm on Friday 30th October 2026 and must be emailed to Sally at [email protected]

Four days of summer baseball, sunshine, and serious fun are waiting ⚾️ We welcome players of all skill levels and we guarantee 50% play for all players during the tournament ⚾️

Cost: $200 per player (jersey + cap included)

⚾️ LL Majors (12U)

⚾️ LL Seniors (16U)
⚾️ 19U: Ages 17–20

We’re looking for up to six coaches per grade (two per team) across 12U, 14U, 16U, and 19U. You don’t need years of experience - just enthusiasm, teamwork, and a keenness for giving players a great tournament experience!

We’re also keen to hear from anyone interested in joining our Grounds Crew - helping to set up and pack down fields each day, and prepping diamonds before games.
