Thanks to everyone who came to our junior muster last week, awesome to see so many new faces!

Some important admin:

If you couldn’t make it to muster but you have children wanting to play rugby, then can you please send me their size for our free club provided hoodies by 20 March so I can place our order.

Can you please also register your child/children at https://myaccount.rugbyxplorer.com.au/choose-registration?name=Kaitake

I’ll be ordering junior socks and shorts which will be available for purchase by the start of the season. I’ll let you know when they arrive so you can collect what you need.

Just been made aware of a locally made film called No Tears on the Field. The film follows a season of women’s grassroots rugby in Taranaki from club players to sporting superheroes Michaela Blyde. It’s a raw, up-close look at the early pulse of women’s rugby: fiercely competitive, deeply personal, and powered by sheer determination. Authentic to the core, these players' journeys resonate far beyond the try line, echoing the experiences of young women everywhere. This is a universal, global story born from a small patch of Taranaki earth. You can watch the trailer here.

The film will be released on March 19 to cinemas around the country, however, there will be a Taranaki Tour of the film on March 6-9.

The Taranaki Tour dates are:
March 6, 7pm King's Theatre Stratford *opening night*
March 7, 7pm, Everybody's Theatre Ōpunake
March 8, 6pm, Event Cinemas New Plymouth
March 9, 1pm, Govett Brewster New Plymouth

Tickets can be purchased here:
