Sunday gone was a good day, GREAT weather, good company, tasty tucker and good games of bowls (well, for some at least!). Well done to Team Linda, who took out the trophy with a 100% record (including a play off against team Alison).

We're doing some maintenance work on the green shortly, and with the Winter weather approaching, this might be our last roll-up for a while. Doesn't mean however, that we're not going to try to get some games in, so keep your eyes on here and we'll let you know what's happening.

Thanks to all who came, and hopefully, see you all at some point soon!

The weather's looking good this coming Sunday, so as we've a few things to finish off, we thought we'd open for a Roll-Up and play for a trophy at the same time. There won't be many weather windows left this season, so take advantage of the sun and join us for a game (and the chance to get your name on a trophy)!

This day is 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗹𝗹, so if you've never played before, doesn't matter, come along and have some fun. Clubhouse opens at 9:30am, so get your names in before we start playing at 10:00am. See you there! 🙂

Last weekend, we hosted our annual 2-day tournament. Unfortunately, the weather didn't play ball on the Sunday, but we got a full day in on Saturday, and one game in on Sunday, which was enough to give us our results.

The winners at Oakura were;

𝟭𝘀𝘁 - Possum (Fitzroy)
𝟮𝗻𝗱 - Mark (Tower)
𝟯𝗿𝗱 - Kevin (Paritutu)

The winners at Okato were;

𝟭𝘀𝘁 - Garry (West End)
𝟮𝗻𝗱 - Marcus (Hawera Park)
𝟯𝗿𝗱 - Aiden (Paritutu)
=𝟰𝘁𝗵 - Shae (Rahotu)
=𝟰𝘁𝗵 - Mike (Wanganui)

Thanks to Oakura Bowling Club for the use of their facilities, all the ladies who helped in the kitchens, bar staff at both clubs, and also to you, the players, for your continuing support of our tournament, we really do appreciate it! ☺️

Hi all, as you may have noticed, the weather this coming Sunday could hinder us playing. Saturday still looks ok, and we'll obviously try to get the full 2-days of our tournament played, but just in case, we're swapping a few things around;

We're going to have the BBQ on Saturday evening, and will also be drawing the raffle prizes on Saturday evening.

We'll also be auctioning off a signed Taranaki rugby jersey, so make sure you leave Saturday night free!

Hopefully the weather will be good, and we'll get everything sorted. Let's see how it goes.

Looking forward to seeing you all this weekend! 🙂
