Our Annual FC Nelson Girls Festival is here! 💗⚽️

Come along to Neale Park from 10am and help us celebrate the amazing girls who are playing football across the Nelson, Tasman & Marlborough region! 🙌

Expect plenty of football, smiles, fun and a fantastic atmosphere as we celebrate our girls and everything they bring to the beautiful game. ⚽️

Well, it’s time to put your knowledge to the test!

We’re holding a Quiz Night fundraiser to help our FC Nelson U19 team get to Napier for the National U19 Youth Championships at Labour Weekend! ⚽🔥

Tribute to a True Club Man

Where do we start ..... Evo ... .

It is with great sadness that we remember and farewell a true club man who has passed away peacefully after a brave battle.

A top man in every sense, he was a valued member of our football family for many years. He played a number of roles within the club, including goalkeeper and goalkeeping coach, and was a member of several of our teams over the years. Most recently, he was part of our Masters team, where his experience, friendship and great sense of humour were always on show.

He was also a long-time member of Metro before the club merged to become FC Nelson, making his contribution to football in our community span many years.

Those who knew him will share our memories of a man who was always happy, always smiling and always willing to lend a hand. He brought a warmth and positivity to the club that will be difficult to replace.

We inducted Evo into our Life Membership in 2025 - fitting of a man who helped anyone and everyone and made an impact on not only those who knew him, but on the many young players who he helped with goalkeeping coaching.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends and all those who knew and loved him like we all did.

You will be greatly missed, mate. Thank you for everything you gave to the club and to those around you.

Rest peacefully, Top Man 💔
