From first cartwheels to confident tumblers — we grow strong bodies and even stronger kids. Currently a non competitive club. Instructed/coached for ages 5-15.

Matamata’s local recreational gymnastics club, proudly affiliated with Gymnastics New Zealand and following the GNZ Incentive Awards programme. Instructed/coached by volunteering parents. Held on Thursday nights for school terms 2-3. In Headon Stadium at the end of Western Street Matamata.

It’s so good to be back in action in our new gymnastics home! 🤸‍♀️❤️💛

Here’s a little look at what some of our older gymnasts were working on in their session this week. It’s great to have everyone back in the gym, building their skills, challenging themselves and making the most of our new space!

We’re looking forward to seeing what our gymnasts achieve as we settle into our new home!

📣 No Monday classes – Labour Weekend

Just a reminder that MGC will be closed on Monday 26 October for the Labour Day long weekend, so there will be no gymnastics classes that day.

Enjoy the long weekend, have some fun, and we’ll see our Monday gymnasts back in the gym the following week! 🤸‍♀️❤️💛🖤

🤸 CLASSES KICK OFF THIS WEEK! ❤️💛🖤

The wait is over! Our Term 4 gymnastics classes start this week, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone into our new home at 58 Firth Street!

If you’re registered for a Monday class, we’ll see you TODAY! 🎉

A few reminders before you arrive:
💧 Bring a drink bottle
💍 Remove all jewellery before class
🎀 Tie long hair up securely
👕 Wear comfortable clothing suitable for gymnastics

Please arrive ready to move, learn new skills and have some fun!

We’re so excited to get started and can’t wait to see our gym full of little gymnasts (and not-so-little ones!) bouncing, tumbling and building confidence.
