Good turnout for our little event today, welcoming the members from the Waikato Classic Motorcycle Club, who have now wound up their activities. It is great to have a new cohort of members to boost our club, and we will continue with the tradition end of year swap meet event

This Saturday, the 10th we are welcoming the members of the Waikato Classic Club, with a short ride and BBQ/get-together at the clubrooms in the afternoon. After 50 years as a seperate club, they have disbanded, and will become part of our Club again.
Ride details: Meet at our Seddon Rd clubrooms from 10.30am. We will have a short, classic-friendly ride, returning to the Clubrooms for the afternoon. Ride route attached. Bring any older bike if you have one, if you don't you can bring your modern and help the oldies get around! But if you want to carve corners, this is not the ride for you.
We are hoping to get a full turnout of our 90+ year old Life Members, health on the day permitting, Hugh Anderson, Trevor Rose and Doc Holiday.

Club nights, first Thursday each month, are always a good chance to view some interesting machinery. Thanks to Mitchell for bringing down his freshly completed Gold Star 350, the actual machine his Grandad, former HMCC member, Stu Nairn owned way back..
And how many other places do you get to ride your motorcycle indoors!
