We've got one last award to celebrate as we wrap up our 2026 season, and it's a pretty special one! 🏆❤️💛🖤

A huge congratulations to Mason Tupaea, our 2026 Ian Clarke Supreme Award recipient!

Mason has had an outstanding season in the red, yellow and black, and it's awesome to see him recognised with Waikato Rugby's highest individual honour.

A massive achievement and one we're all bloody proud of! Well done, Mason! 👏🐮

As we look back on our 2026 FPC season, we hear from a few of our girls about what it means to represent Waikato, the pride that comes with pulling on the jersey and what makes being part of this whānau so special.

We're proud to partner with Tira, who share our values of connection, community and looking after our people.

The 2026 season might be wrapped up, but the pride in wearing the red, yellow and black never stops. Here's to everything we've built and everything still to come in 2027! See you next year ❤💛🖤

🏆 Celebrating our Waikato Rugby representative award winners!

Waikato Representative Team of the Year – Waikato U20s mens 🏉

Three years on top! Our Waikato U20s have taken out their competition for the third consecutive year, another incredible achievement from a talented group of young men. A fantastic season built on hard work, commitment and plenty of Waikato pride. A huge congratulations to the players, coaches and management who made it happen!

Waikato Representative Coach of the Year – Sean Botherway*👏

A well-deserved recognition for Sean, who has once again led our Waikato U20s to championship success! Sean's dedication to developing our young players, his commitment to Waikato Rugby and the time and effort he puts into the game make him a hugely valued part of our rugby community.

A massive congratulations to Sean and the entire U20s whānau. The future of Waikato Rugby is in great hands! ❤💛🖤

Our intern Tamsin got to unwrap a special delivery from NZ Rugby’s Mind Set Engage team and have a kōrero with our staff about the importance of looking after our wellbeing.

A timely reminder this Mental Health Awareness Week to check in on ourselves and those around us. Sometimes it’s the little things that make a big difference! 🫶

A big thank you to the Mind Set Engage team for thinking of us!

Our very own Waikato U13 girls will be taking to the field at FMG Stadium Waikato this Saturday, with UMS - United Matamata Sports taking on Kereone Rugby and Sports Club Kahu in a game of Ripper Rugby during the Black Ferns warm-up!

And there's plenty of rugby to enjoy before the main event, with Tainui U23 Women taking on Pasifika U23 at 12.30pm in the curtain raiser.

An awesome afternoon of women's rugby, from our future stars right through to the Black Ferns! Bring the whānau along, get behind our girls and make a day of it! ❤️💛🖤

A great turnout at Hamilton Marist last night, with 30 awesome coaches getting stuck into our Level 1 Sevens Coaching Course! 🏉

From attack and defence to set piece, game understanding and game day management, our coaches covered plenty of ground, with lots of hands-on learning out on the field.

Awesome to see so many coaches keen to learn, share ideas and take some new skills back to their Sevens teams. The future of Sevens rugby in the Waikato is looking bright! 👏
