What a season!
Congratulations to our Patutahi ladies finishing the round robin 1st equal on the table with Wairoa Golf Club. What an effort !
Sadly there will be no shield coming home, losing the countback based on individual match results and damn it was close!
Congratulations to Wairoa on an incredible season and how fitting to have had the final at home on a beautiful day showcasing the best of a community run course and the generosity of its members.
Thank you to all our ladies for showing up in the long season that started back in February, your commitment to representing the club with pleasure and pride has been nothing but inspiring to see; as well as those women, and our men who have showed up to support; at home, throughout the rounds as well as showing investment in the women’s game. I assure you it has not gone unnoticed.
To those that played throughout the season; Kim, Charlie, Kennedy, Frances, Sheree, Denise and Shelley. Well done ladies. 1st Equal is amazing and we are so proud of you.
We will be back next year, and no doubt will be gunning for the shield.
