We are absolutely thrilled to announce that 5 Tri Star athletes have been selected to represent New Zealand at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow!

This is a massive achievement for the athletes, their families, and everyone who has supported them along the way. Your hard work has officially paid off!

Also a huge congratulations to Paul Fischetti and Gareth Brettell, who have also been named to the Team as Coach and Judge!

We are incredibly proud to have such strong Tri Star representation on the world stage.

Its great to see a total of 7 athletes representing New Zealand and we would like to pass on a huge congratulations to everyone selected! Lets go team!

From Auckland to the international stage 🌏✨

A huge weekend for the athletes from Tri Star Gymnastics competing at the Oceania Championships and Queensland State Championships in Brisbane 🇳🇿🔥

In MAG:
- Misha nailed his parallel bars routine and debuted a new skill on high bar (Koudinov 2.0) 💪
-William showed serious grit, pushing through injury to deliver a standout floor routine 👏
- Daniel took first on still rings 🥇
- Alex finished an impressive second on high bar 🥈
- Eras successfully hit all of his routines! And this was his international debut on the gymnastics world stage 🤩

In WAG:
- Courtney successfully competed her upgraded vault and improved on her score, hitting a 13.366 average — the highest of the competition! ✨
- Julia (Level 7) had an amazing competition in Queensland, hitting all her routines and placing:
🥈 2nd All Around
🥈 2nd Bars
🥇 1st Beam
🥇 1st Floor

So proud of this team for representing New Zealand and Tri Star with determination, resilience and class 💙🤍

Events and Operations Manager – Tri Star Gymnastics Club

Tri Star Gymnastics Club is seeking an experienced and motivated Events and Operations Manager to join our Senior Management Team in a full-time role starting mid June 2026.

Based at our club facility in Keith Hay Park, Mt Roskill, this hands-on leadership role is responsible for delivering Tri Star’s event calendar, overseeing facility operations, leading communications and member engagement, and ensuring exceptional customer service across all programmes. You’ll work closely with coaches, staff, volunteers and stakeholders to create outstanding experiences for our members and wider community.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong operational leadership, events management expertise, and a passion for community sport to make a real impact in a high-performing, values-driven organisation.
