THANK YOU, Auckland!
On behalf of the whole Pink Ribbon Ride team, thank you so much for your amazing support of our 23rd Ride.
It was wonderful for me to see so many supporters returning year after year, creating a warm sense of community. Every rider, volunteer and spectator brought the energy, and the sea of pink from the Auckland Netball Centre to Eden Park was unforgettable.
We had 247 bikes and up to 300 people with us, and together we raised $8,000 for the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ. This brings the total raised since our first Ride in 2004 to $169,709.
A huge thank you also to everyone who made the day possible: our generous sponsors, our MC Jackie Clarke, our auctioneer Michele Maidens, Graham Young, Artist, the New Lynn Lions Club and the Westpac team, the NZ Police, Hato Hone St John, our bike and pedestrian marshals and all of our volunteers. And of course, thank you to all of you!
