I tried the video update thing but to impatient, so its back to the old ways. Here are the latest PR fleet ready to head off to Gizzy for R1 of Super5 on Saturday then Hastings for R2 on Sunday.
All the gear in these cars, will be interesting to see how our winter upgrades work.
Next week should be first thursday test night, so lets see!

Alrighty everyone, welcome to the end of winter and start of spring I guess, 50mm in 24hours, it's all a little damp out here, but the enthusiasm is still strong and pumped for an amazing time!!

So this weekend see's the start of Super5 series. Gizzy Saturday, Hasting on Sunday. At this stage, Steve and I are heading through to Gizzy, but a lot of you are going to Hastings. I will have the trailer on board, so some tables and ezups, plus out spares and parts of course.
Super5 is 5 rounds, best 3 count, and this year using our race program. Random draw R1, R2 is reverse finish order of the class, and then points to the pole in R3, and if you are on pole and win R3, you win the day. This should create some amazing racing around the tracks and really open the results up for an exciting season.

So if you can't get to Gizzy, do make an effort to make Hastings, this will be the last race meet on the old track before the club moves to the new exciting venue. Next round is CMR on Oct 4, so lets ensure we get a good turnout. Then the final 2 rounds are at Masterton Saturday Nov 15 and then the final here on Sunday Nov 16, so it's going to be over and done before the busy summer season starts.

If you want a extra run at Masterton, the MRC club champs are on Sunday 1 November, so make sure we get over to this. We also have the NZ Offroad Grand Prix on Sunday Nov 29, this is a trophy race, the full palaver. The track should be well sorted and with only 4 classes, and full F1 qualifying to set grids and then long races that will ensure strategy and speed are needed to take the maiden victory. If you don't make the main, don't worry we have F2, F3 and F4 races for those that don't make it through!! So don you finest kit, your flashest RC clothes, Gooci sunglasses, we are bringing the glam to the dirt. Bonus cool status for Pirelli sidewalls templates and coloured bands.......

Allrighty everyone, it's Fridee so it's time to get all your entries sorted for Sundee and next Weekend's first Super5 Double header of the 2026 season.

I am leaving Friday morning and have seats, so don't be shy, let's go and see our gizzy mates on Saturday and then HB team on Sunday! Weather is looking 100% 18' and Sunny both days so come on, lets go!! Modern, Vintage, Truck, 4WD, Ebuggy, or all of them, this is the series you want to be part of to celebrate dirt racing, and all the good things that go with that. And we will be saying farewell to the Hawkes Bay track at this venue for the final time, so don't say you missed out because you had an indoor setup in the car. Then we get to go back and welcome the new one soon for the first meeting, so honestly what better time to be a RC racer!!!

3d printer going hard this week. More spring cups, and now a quick change Sprintcar mud disc. Removes the fiddly 3 screws and now retained by wheel nut. Available in Yellow, orange, black, green.

Well the first day of September and Spring starts the countdown to outdoor racing for us! We have put some dirt on the offroad track, will get this spread and merged into the surface and ready for first thursday test days.

It's also a better day today, so we thought this was a much better day to wish our keeper of points and indoor racing Glenn Coles another 21st birthday, so make sure you share the love this Sunday when you see him. Well done mate, another journey around the sun complete.

A few more sleeps and we start round 5 of the Indoor series and I'm sure the points are looking super close in some of the classes.
I have 2 Supertrucks available for sale, a great time to secure your cars for next year!!

We are now only 12 days away from the Gizzy/HB double header Super5 series race, so we do encourage you to give this a crack. Super5 is the central regions own set of events that bring us all together in a fun club day and catch up outside of nationals or other big regional events. We have lots of new cars and upgrades and it's always great to see how they go on the dirt. I'll be heading to Gizzy on Friday morning and staying the night and will zip back down to Hastings for the final blast on the old track, before the club moves to the new venue. If you can't make Gizzy, make sure you get to HB on Sunday as leaving tracks for the last time is a pretty significant moment in RC racing and let's give this grand old lady a fitting farewell, and you get to say you won the last race there! Can't take that away from you!

I've started the 2026 September weather chart where I monitor each days forecast and make a prediction of what summer might look like. I've heard all the experts, let's see how my observations stack!

Amazing day of Dirt Oval Racing, a great chance to get outside and catch up with everyone again after the winter hiatus.

Well done to Sam for the win in the 10026c 100lap Sprintcar feature. Consolations to Duane and Kyle who led many laps but timing did’nt go at the right time.

Losi Late Models looked great, our WCS spring seats saved the bodies and the cars were great.
Sprint cars also made so much better with the seats, plus the other rule tidying up we have done makes the racing so much closer and exciting to be part of.
We have allowed mods in the Traxxas Late Models/modifieds and again once we lock these down we will confirm the changes.
Track was also superb and thank you all for coming, such a great day!
Right next sunday off to CMR for round 1 of vintage racing, yell out if you are in!!

The 10026¢ 100lap Mid-Winter Sprint car Classic is on tomorrow! Gates open at 10am, racing starts at 12.30, should be finished by 4pm.

See you'all tomorrow in NZ fastest RC speedway, the Citrus Bowl!!!
