Located in the Sea of Cortez, Cabo Pulmo was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site for a reason. Once nearly fished to extinction, the local community banned all fishing in 1995 and brought it completely back to life. Now it’s one of the greatest ocean conservation success stories on the planet.
