The .cabo PADI IDC program for 2026 is underway. Our custom built training pool is a nice 24c, compared to this time last year 18c! A reflection of the warm winter we have had. So far this year we have had a busy Divemaster program, a continued trend from 2025 which saw our pro certs preform better than ever!
Our June Instructor Development Course has already 3 eager Divemasters ready to go Instructors! Which means we only have 1 free accommodation available for the course!

Every now and then i get access to take to people diving like old times. Today not only delivered, but exceeded. The ‘A’ team of and myself hit jackpot at Gordo Banks today, besides the 40 odd Hammerhead sharks, Manta Ray, and Silky Shark, some the migrating Humpbacks gave us a show!

After a small delay both Wes and team .cabo member Marcos made it through the PADI Exam! Thanks to Jorge for coming. Now the fun really begins!
That is a close for the 2025 Pro development at Dive Cabo. Classes in 2026 are filling up, starting with our Feb IDC. Only 1 free accommodation spot left.

That brings an end to our 2025 Pro development here .cabo !
Wes on the left has returned after trying to fight our dive boat in September but came off 2nd best, he has completed his IDC and tomorrow will start the exams. Mike on the right just completed his Divemaster. He has been a super help and garnered praise by all guides! Pretty sure he will be back for the IDC soon!
Our 2026 calendar will be up and ready. As always, don’t forget FREE accommodation for our IDC candidates!

The next PADI Divemaster Pro’s are here! Krystel ( 🇨🇦) and Nicolas ( 🇨🇭) !
The last two weeks they have been put into the busy times here at Dive Cabo and came out ready to lead. We now have a quiet week then the next PADI Pro classes start for the Christmas rush! Need to get out of the cold? The Baja sun is shining!

Always a challenge for the PADI Divemaster course is the knots as part of the Search and Recover scenario… but shows us here what a bowline knot looks like! You want to make sure when rigging and lifting heavy objects underwater, you have the right know for the right situation. But don’t stop practicing after the Divemaster course…. It is a favorite of the PADI Exams when you do your Instructor Development Course… if in doubt… tie lots!

Our PADI IDC has come to the end! The last Open Water presentations have been made, and .mendez gave the big thumbs up to our candidates and , unfortunately our other candidate Wes, decided to fight the dive boat but came off 2nd best. He will return for our Dec IDC to finish what he started.
Tomorrow starts the examination, we have no doubt they will succeed!

We welcome Hayley ( ) to Cabo San Lucas and Dive Cabo! All the way from UK 🇬🇧.
Hayley is here to complete her PADI Divemaster course and join the pro levels. Over the next 2 weeks she will be thrown straight into the mix of beginners, students and certified divers. But first is the 24 skill circuit to brush up on tbe skill presentations, and having a custom deep water pool makes all the difference, after this course we head straight into our May PADI IDC, if you are looking to step up to instructor level, then sign up!
