LIHPS is delighted to introduce three talented people who joined the institute in 2026. Each brings a strong academic background paired with valuable sporting experience, and LIHPS couldn’t be prouder to have them on board.
⛵ Tim Felber — Executive Assistant, joining the Administration Department
Tim holds a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science from LUNEX. In his role, he focuses on streamlining internal processes and keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly. A National Champion in Sailing, he has claimed titles in the Double-Handed Dinghy (2019 & 2020) and the Single-Handed Dinghy (2024 & 2025), and represented Luxembourg at the Games of the Small States of Europe in Malta (2023).
🏀 Max Sinner — Data Scientist, joining the Performance Department
Max holds a Bachelor in Physics and a Master in Data Science, both from the University of Luxembourg. His work as a data scientist drives data-informed performance while also supporting athlete health — from prevention to return-to-sport. A former Sportlycée student and basketball player, he represented Luxembourg at the FIBA U16 European Championships (2012 & 2013).
🏐 Nadja Schaus — Dual Career Counsellor, joining the Dual Career Department
Nadja holds an MSc in Psychology and accompanies LIHPS athletes throughout their dual career journey, helping them balance sport with their education and professional development. A former professional volleyball player, she was German Champion in 2011 and finished 7th at the 2010 World Championships, earning 54 international caps for the German National Team.
From the water to the court, from physics to data science — this is exactly the kind of expertise and sporting experience that makes LIHPS special.
