Thursday 29th October was the first of the club competitions of the season; the secretaries shoot which is as its name suggests a shoot chosen by the secretary of the club. This year was a Halloween based fun shoot with shooters taking 10 shots aiming at 25 icons, each with its own value ranging from 1 to 6 points. There was a bonus if anyone hit the little star on the end of the witches/wizards hat worth 10 points. Only 2 shooters hit that little star, Paul Holt and Kirk Lewis. This scoring system was unknown to the shooters however.
In the event of a tie score, the shooter with the highest single score was the winner.
As can be seen from the results only 2 points separated the top 5 shooters.
