Welcome to the West Fargo Flyers Swim Team! We work hard to "Own the Zone".

Our mission is to provide competitive opportunities for all swimmers to develop excellence in both performance and integrity in a safe, supportive environment. We have built a strong team of athletes who are competitive in nature, challenging in their development, and enjoy building from a solid foundation of success in the pool. The West Fargo Flyers Swim Team is a local USA Swimming Club open to both boys and girls,ages 5 and up.

Congratulations to JJ Kalash!!

JJ completed his 5K open water race today with an incredible time of 1:05:04!

We are so proud of the hard work, dedication, and determination he put into preparing for this event. Competing in open water takes a special kind of courage, and JJ represented the Flyers extremely well.

Way to go, JJ! 🧡💚

JJ took part in an open water swim clinic today!

While Mother Nature had other plans and the clinic was moved indoors due to weather, JJ still got some great preparation in before tomorrow's race. He's excited and ready to take on the challenge of open water swimming at 8:30 am!

We'll share a few videos from today's clinic in the comments - be sure to drop your words of encouragement there and help cheer him on.

𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄...

The West Fargo Flyers have a swimmer competing at the 2026 Central Zone Open Water Championship!

JJ Kalash will take on the 5K Open Water Race on Friday, June 12, in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. To help him prepare, his Flyers teammates packed his lane during practice last week, giving him a chance to experience the close-quarters swimming that comes with open water racing.

We are incredibly proud of JJ for earning this opportunity and representing the Flyers on the zone stage. Best of luck, JJ - we can't wait to hear all about your race! 🧡💚

The Flyers had an incredible time in Brookings this weekend!! In addition to many AWESOME swims, our coaching staff “won” the opportunity to cannonball into the pool today. The Flyers coaches took things to the next level by choreographing a dance to go with their cannonballs!! (The music is a little hard to hear - they are dancing to “Eye of the Tiger”).

Brody has been accepted into the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering at Indiana University. He plans to major in computer science and will continue his swimming career as a member of the Indiana Hoosiers Men's Swim & Dive team.
