zra Never Looked Back: Monza Win on Return as Azran Takes the Championship Lead

Shaul Ezra returned from injury, snatched pole at the death of qualifying, and led every lap of a dry Italian Grand Prix. Eden Azran finished second after a clean, race-long fight with Amir Ehud — and, with Youssef Shaheen absent, moved to the top of the drivers' championship for the first time. Two weeks earlier at Zandvoort, Azran had already taken his first ISL win in mixed conditions. Monza results remain provisional.

Shaheen Wins the First: A Spa Thriller Opens ISL Season 1

History has its first name. Youssef Shaheen wins ISL's very first race from third on the grid, edging polesitter Shaul Ezra after an epic opening-stint duel. A dry qualifying and race turned dramatic when rain arrived in the closing laps — with the whole field gambling on slicks, the last lap was a knife-edge on almost no grip. Idan Turjeman completes the podium, and not a single case reaches the stewards.
