Hollybrook Riding Club This is the official page of Hollybrook Riding Club. HollyBrook Riding Club is one of the Longest established Riding Clubs in the Country.

Preparations are in full swing for tomorrow morning, the weather is looking promising and the course is built! Daisy šŸ„ is on her holidays so wont be taking part this year.

The cafe will be open for food and drinks.

Numbers (and string if needed) can be collected from a committee member the cafe area.

All classes are taking place in the main arena starting at 10am sharp. Warm up is in the arena above it.

Below is the running order and approx numbers:
70cm Working Hunter (7)
80cm Working Hunter (9)
90cm Working Hunter (7)
1m Working Hunter tbc
Lunch approx 1 to 1.30
P1 and P2 Equitation Showing (8)
P3 and above Equitation Showing (8)

This is the showpiece for the Equitation Classes at our show on Saturday.
The class format will run as per a regular showing class, everyone will be asked to walk, trot and canter as a group on each rein (extension optional for P1 and P2). Competitors will then line up and ride the showpiece one by one which will be scored by the judge.
Turnout as you would for your horse/ponies type for a regular showing class.
Remember points are awarded for riders accuracy, use of aids, position etc.

For anyone new to showing or wanting to give it a go now is the time!
One if the aims of our show is to encourage people to try something new and compete in a friendly welcoming atmosphere where they can ask questions or get tips from other seasoned competitors.
