Our U12 premier team had a hard fought 1-1 draw away to Arklow United yesterday. There was nothing between both teams and a draw was probably a fair result.

Conor O’Brien was on the score sheet for the second week in a row heading in a deserved equaliser, after Arklow opened the scoring just after the break.

Both teams pushed for the winner but both defences holding strong.

On a sunny Saturday morning the 2019 Boys took part in a U7’s Blitz in St Anthony’s, Kilcoole.

We were joined by fellow 2019 squads from Wicklow clubs Newtown, Arklow Utd , Newcastle, Wicklow Rovers, Glencormac & hosts St Anthony’s.

In their final matches before the summer break the boys turned on the style with some tremendous football. They showed some brave defending, crisp passing and some really well taken goals.
A big thank you to St Anthony’s for putting on a very well run & enjoyable Blitz.

U12 Yellow Match Report
Our U12 Yellow side signed off for the league break with a hard-fought 3-3 draw against Ashford at home today.

It was one of those days where we just never really got going and seemed to be up against it throughout the game. Things didn't quite click for us, and at times it felt like everything was going against us. However, the players showed great character and determination to stay in the contest and, in truth, we could easily have gone on to win the game.

Adam Sadio continued his excellent form with two goals, while Lucy Loughran marked her final game for the club in style. Captaining the side, Lucy led by example and capped off her performance with a goal of her own.

A big thank you to Lucy for all her hard work, commitment and contribution to the club. We wish her every success in the future.

We would also.like to wish jess mccormack the best of luck as she moves on to our 2014 girls team we are sure she will amazing for the wicklow town girls

Disappointing result for us in the Cup Final against Rathnew last Sunday. Unfortunately, we didn't produce the performance we were capable of on the day.

A huge thank you to all our supporters who travelled and backed us throughout the game and the competition. Your support never goes unnoticed.

Congratulations to Rathnew on their victory and best of luck to them going forward.
We'll learn from this setback, regroup, and come back stronger. We will be back. 💙

busy weekend for our U8s! 💙💛
The Blues travelled to Arklow United on Saturday and enjoyed some fantastic games against a very good Arklow United side.

The players showed great effort, teamwork and plenty of skill throughout.

The Yellows were in action this morning against Newtown, and once again there was some excellent football on display from both teams.

It was great to see all the players enjoying themselves and continuing to develop their game.

The progress these young players are making week after week is brilliant to see. They are all coming on so much and should be very proud of their efforts. Well done everyone! 👏⚽💙💛

U12s Yellow Away to Arklow Town ⚽️
What a brilliant game of football this afternoon between two excellent teams, with some fantastic goals on display.

We came away with a hard-fought 3-2 victory in a real thriller. Having taken the lead twice, Arklow Town showed great character to battle back on both occasions. At 2-2, the game could have gone either way, but Adam Sadio stepped up to produce the decisive moment, completing his hat-trick with a brilliant lob to seal the win.

A special mention goes to young goalkeeper Rian Doyle from our U11s, who stepped in for us today and made some unbelievable saves throughout the match. His performance played a huge part in securing the three points.

Well done to all the players on a fantastic team performance and credit to Arklow Town for a great game.

The u12 premier team had a brilliant 0-3 away win against Ashford today.

From the first whistle they ran their socks off in a excellent team effort.

Two Tom Donohoe corners set them up for victory with the first finished from a bullet header from Aidan Mitchell and the second was another header from captain Conor O Brien. Jacob Harbott then capitalised on a defensive mix up to calmly finish and make it 3 nil before half time.

The second half was a much closer half with our defence holding strong to deny a come back.

It would be unfair to single out any player as they all played great and can be proud of their effort especially after a few lacklustre matches of late. Hopefully this effort will continue for the rest of the season.
