The wonderful Dunlavin Arts Festival kicks off in Dunlavin this coming weekend, and it's always a very enjoyable event, with something for everyone.

As part of our ongoing fundraising efforts, we will have a stall outside the Imaal Hall on Sunday selling a wide selection of baked goods. We will also be selling tickets for our summer raffle.

🔹️Hibernia Cup🔹️

The Wicklow U15 hurlers had a fantastic victory over Roscommon last Sunday in the Hibernia Cup final in Abbotstown.

The boys built up a commanding lead and showed massive determination and resilience to see off a Roscommon comeback in the second half. Congratulations to the management team and players, especially our club hurlers, Adam Greene and Dylan McGrath. We're very proud of you, boys. Keep making strides!

It's been great to see plenty of silverware for our county hurling teams this season, as the small ball continues it's upward trajectory within the county 🔵🟡

🔹️U13's🔹️

Best of luck to our super U13 team who get their A Championship campaign underway in Valleymount this evening at 7:00 p.m. They have been going very well in training with good attendance by all players. They welcome Parnell Gaels in their Round 1 fixture.

🔹️Intermediates🔹️

Our intermediates were back in action yesterday evening for a league fixture against Carnew Emmets.

It was great to see the return of our county hurlers to the squad for their first game with the Gaels this season. The lads won comfortably in the end and put another two points on the league table. They are building nicely towards the championship.

Fair play to Carnew for travelling up to us with an understrength team to fulfill the fixture. We're sure the result will be much closer if our paths cross again in the championship.

The lads have a BYE in the next round.

🔹️Intermediates🔹️

The intermediates are back in action again this evening in Round 5 of the IHL. They will face Carnew Emmets in what is anticipated to be a competitive affair in perfect conditions for hurling.

Throw-in is at 8:00 p.m in Hollywood.

A few bits last week.
- Our Juniors had a very competitive game against Carnew in the League. Well done to all.

- Well done to Conall, Luke & Meithéal on their first season with the County Senior hurlers. 2025/26 was very eventful with winning the Kehoe Cup, the League, promotion and holding their position in the Christy Ring cup. Now back to the club to finish off the League and prepare for the Intermediate Championship.
