Ballina Handball Club is proud to support support ‘Ár Réaltaí Beaga – Our Little Stars’, a very special initiative creating a permanent tribute in Croke Park to remember precious babies and children from within our GAA family who are no longer with us.🕊️✨

As a club and as a community, we stand together with families who have experienced such unimaginable loss.

Every little star matters. Every little star is remembered.🌟

We are sharing this message in the hope that it reaches any family within our wider GAA community who may wish to have their precious little star included in this special tribute.

There is no cost to families and no fundraising involved.

With the new layout of the Clár, the Southern Classic has to move to a new date for the upcoming 40x20 season. We’re looking forward to welcoming our Open players back to Liscarroll and Mallow for Southern Classic 2026 2.0 from the 23rd-25th October for the opening tournament of the season! More updates to follow.

🇮🇪🏆 ALL-IRELAND CHAMPION! 🏆🇮🇪

What an incredible day for our club! Huge congratulations to Siobhan Prentice, who has been crowned the Ladies Junior B All-Ireland Wallball Champion 2026!

Siobhan showed fantastic determination throughout the day, coming through a tough semi-final against Monaghan to book her place in the All-Ireland Final against Laois.

With an outstanding display of handball, powerful serving and incredible determination, Siobhan rose to the occasion and came out on top to claim the All-Ireland title!

A massive thank you to everyone who travelled to support Siobhan and to everyone who tuned in online. A truly fantastic achievement and a very proud day for the club!

Hard luck to Emily Monaghan, who came up against a very strong Antrim opponent today in the Girls’ U14 All-Ireland Semi-Final 🇮🇪

Emily gave everything on the court and can be incredibly proud of her performance. She showed fantastic resilience, determination and character throughout — and did it all with a smile on her face!

Reaching an All-Ireland Semi-Final is a massive achievement, and the future is certainly bright with Emily still underage again next year!

A fantastic achievement, Emily — keep your head high and be proud of how far you’ve come. 👏

This weekend sees the Wallball season draw to a close with the Wallball All-Ireland Championship Finals taking place in Clough-Ballacolla on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th August. The Juvenile Finals take place on the Saturday with the Adult Finals on the Sunday.
We are proud to have two representatives from the club competing in their respective grades...
