Great days testing done in Mondello.
Few changes made to the bike.
Some worked and some didnt, but nice to see how the bike was reacting and to get some seat time ahead of Kells Road Races in just a few weeks time. 🏁🏁

Cookstown 100
What a start for my first ever road race.

Newcomers laps: Time: 1.53.933
5 laps behind Micko Sweeney was brilliant to get a layout of the track and figure out the correct lines. No mad speed just learn the ropes.

Qualifying: P13 Time 1.42.000
Still learning the track and finding out where I can push on. Done a 1.42.000 lap which put me into the A race and qualified in P13 which was brilliant.

Race: Junior Support A P8. Time: 1.37.160
Got a good start off the line, dived up the inside of a few riders to make some places. Finally started to get to grips with the track and started to push on as the race progressed.

One of the best experiences I have ever had racing. To see crowds lined along the circuit as we fly past was great. Thanks to everyone who helped over the weekend with tips and tricks its much appreciated 🙏

And to Baylon McCaughey, Marshals and all other organisers what a brilliantly run event.

Finally and most importantly a huge thanks to my sponsors it wouldnt be possible without ye

Great start to the 2026 season and the first race weekend on the new Aprillia.

Qualifying: Still learning the new bike and put in a decent qualifying time putting me in P8 for race 1.

Race 1: Made a mistake on the last corner which meant I overshot and got stuck in the gravel so I couldnt finish the race but at least I learned the bikes limits.

Race 2: P1 in race 2 for the first 4 laps in the rain but unfortunatly due to an incident the race was stopped. As race didnt go full distance no result was officially declared. It was a pity as I had a decent lead but these things happen.

Race 3: I was determined to make a strong finish to the weekend and finished on the podium with a P3 in what can only be described as tricky conditions.

The main thing was to bring it home in one piece and get ready for my road racing debut in just 2 weeks time at the Cookstown 100

Huge thanks to my sponsors this year DPOD Engineering Ltd., Paul Barrett Construction, Atlantic Boating, Kevin Barrett, South Coast Motorcycles, Aidans Autos

2026 Season Update:

Its been a long wait but delighted to say I have been granted my road race license for 2026.
The plan for this season is to compete in all Irish Road Races north and south with a few races in Mondello Masters in between.

Its going to be a busy season but cant wait to get stuck in.

There is still plenty of sponsorship spaces on the bike and helmet. From sponsoring a spark plug to a tyre no amount is too little if anyone would like to help towards the 2026 season and get their own name or business name on display at the Irish roads please get in contact.

More exciting news to come soon 🏍

Sunflower Trophy Races 2025 🌻

Qualifying P5: First time back on the twin in 6 months, conditions were damp with a mix of dry and wet tyres being used. Didnt push overly hard just wanted to get used to the bike again.

Race 1 P6: Big wheelie off the line meant I did lose some time at the start, battled out as best i could and brought it home P6.

Race 2 P4: Got off to a cracking start, up into P3, fought hard for the first lap and got into P2 until the race got red flagged due to oil spill. Race was restarted, got a good launch off the line again but got caught in a battle with some supertwins through the entire race so couldnt make up the time i needed to catch the other production twins. Still some great battles had and happy with a P4.

Time to reset for the winter and get ready for 2026.

Huge congratulations to teammate Roy Werst on getting 2nd in the USBK championship it was well earned.

Thanks to all the NRW Racing sponsors who helped us all year it wouldnt be possible without them.
