What an incredible day at our Pre-Festival Summer Show today! โ๏ธ๐ด
With over 150 entries, it was certainly a busy one, and none of it would have been possible without the amazing support of our volunteers. We begged, borrowed and stole help throughout the day to make sure everything ran smoothly, and we are so grateful to every single person who stepped in to help.
A huge thank you to all our members who have worked so hard over the last few weeks preparing for todayโs show. Your hard work and dedication really showed.
You may have noticed some of our new equipment today โ including our poles, derby fences and harrow โ which we were delighted to receive as part of a Sports Capital Grant from The National Lottery, with the help of Community Finance Ireland .
Thank you to MD Equestrian Photography for capturing the day so perfectly, and to all our catering team who made sure everyone was fed and watered throughout the day.
A massive thank you also goes to our judges Elena, Tony, Emily, Chloe and Harry for giving up their time and helping make our show happen.
Finally, special thanks must go to our committee members Cheryl Hayes and David Maher
Cheryl does so much for our club behind the scenes and is always there to help, no matter the task.
And Davidโฆ where do we even start? He provided us with such an amazing venue to run todayโs show. He keeps us all calm when we wobble, goes along with some of our mad ideas, and sometimes even comes up with his own! He is someone to be admired for everything he has achieved, and we are incredibly lucky to have him as chair of our club.
